I have also noticed more engagement and more collaboration. I like the idea of switching it daily too. For some classes that is what they may need. GREAT idea to use photo cases and those bins from Joann Fabric are perfect! I really like how you are giving your students some choice every day after they finish their have to center. That is so important when teaching students of various ability levels and learning styles. I used to switch it out daily - one day I would choose their centers and the next they would get to choose; however, I like your idea of combining the two every day.
